Toolpoint for Lab Science operates as a formally registered Swiss association (Verein). Our statutes set out the legal framework governing membership, the rights and duties of members, and the organisation’s governance structure — ensuring transparency and accountability across the network.

Governance Principles
- Toolpoint is registered as a Swiss association (Verein) governed by the Swiss Civil Code — ensuring a transparent and non-commercial legal structure.
- Membership rights, annual contributions and participation in the General Assembly are regulated by the statutes, giving all members a formal voice in the organisation.
- The Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly and bears responsibility for the strategic direction and operational oversight of the cluster.
- Membership categories and the associated fees are defined in the statutes, allowing organisations of different scales to participate appropriately.
- The statutes guarantee the political and commercial independence of the association, preserving the integrity and neutrality of the Toolpoint network.
